A Peacful Morning

[Heartless Deity]

Zuko opened his eyes. He remembered now, that he was in some herd and didn't have really any permission. He started to worry bit, because once the leader caught his scent he would be in big trouble. He looked around and found Eclipse laying nearby.

[Serenity]

The ebony mare slowly opened her silver eyes to the sounds of the morning and waterfall. Then looking at the bright sun and remembering the herd, she jumped to her feet, feathers ruffled out. "It's late! Let's hope our leader goes easy on us!" Eclipse cried, quickly grooming her feathers before taking flight. "C'mon! We must hurry! If we're lucky, he might still be sleeping." She called anxiously.

Ooc| Sure! ^.^ ... Waaitt... How about Zuko becomes leader. It's ok if you don't like the idea, it was jsut really random XD Oooh wait... How about the leader right now is veeery mean and Zuko chasing him off because of his cruelness. *is realy kiddesh right now*

Zuko quickly got up and launched after her. He didn't care if he looked messy, as long as he could fly and protect himself he was ok. His creme body soared after ebony mare. His black eyes still tired but they were very alert.

Eclipse flapped harder, knowing that both of the horses would probably be kicked out of the ehrd at the most. The least their leader would do would be to make them stay inside the herd for the next week or so.

Eclipse's silvery mane flew out wildly behind her as she flew, her legs tucked close to ehr body. She soared over, under, and around clouds until she finally spotted the herd again. "Here goes nothing," Eclipse said, almost to herself. She checked to make sure Zuko was behind her, and then slowly began her decent.

Zuko followed closely in pursuit. She could see the herd, and to his uneasiness, then leader. He wish he had found the leader first before staying, but it was late and he was very tired.

His creme, black, and navy blue body slowwed up a bit as he went closer to the body. His large muscular wings kept him from falling from the air. He continued his descend then his black hooves touched the ground. He stopped quickly and waited for Eclipse. His black eyes blank, but deep inside he was a tiny bit nervous. Some didn't seem right.

Eclipse followd after Zuko, and landed beside him nervously. The leader was already awake, and didn't look too happy.

The learder walked over to them. He gave Zuko a long cold glare, then turned to Eclipse. "Where were you?!" He demanded. He was a pure white stallion with a black blaze, black legs, mane and tail.

[Serenity]

[Oh, sorry ^^;]

Eclipse winced, and took a step back. "We were just by the waterfall. It was late, and we didn't really feel like coming back to the herd, so I showed Zuko there. It was my fault." She explained quietly, and hung her head, her silvery forlock falling in her face.

[Heartless Deity]

"But you brought some one new!" He said almost fercly(sp). He glared at her, "I don't want random stallions hanging about."

Zuko watched him. If that leader hurts her I'll.... he thought.

The leader lashed out with a sharp grey hoof cutting her chest. Zuko watched with disbelief. He screamed at teh leader and shoved him aside making him almost lose his balence.

"You have no right to attach me!" The leader shouted. He neighed loudly and grabbed Zuko by the neck with his teeth.

[Serenity]

Eclipse gasped, and jumped back at her leader's act. How did he become leader anyway? She wondered. Then as her leader attacked Zuko, she cried out, "Stop!" And the black Pegasus kicked the stallion hard, causoing damage to his leg. Eclipse snorted angrily, and pinned her ears back, ready to defend herself andZuko if nessasary, despite her wound.

Zuko was a little suprized by Ecplise but ignored it for know. He reared up and knocked him to the ground. He had much more muscle mass them him.

The leader grunt and quickly got to his feet and rammed himself at Zuko.

[Serenity]

Soon the herd had gathered aruond the two fighting stallions and Eclipse, eyes wide with fear and anxiety. Eclipse simply ignored them, and spread her ebony wings, her silver eyes filled with rage at her leader.

Eclipse reared, and lashed her front legs, hitting her leader in the back of the head, knocking him out. (Sorry if I played him a bit there, didn't mean to do it. ^^ When all four of her hooves were back on solid earth, Eclipse snorted angrily, and blew her silvery forelock out of her face.

Zuko fought angrily at the leader. When he was on the ground he stood panting. His black eyes stil had plenty of fire left. Now he had to chose to take the herd or leave them all.


Zuko looked around himself. The herd had gathered around; his first time noticing them. He raised his creme and black face to the cloudy sky and neighed ivctoriously to claim the herd and land.He finished his call then looked around ath teh herd with his soft black eyes.

[Serenity]

Eclipse whinnied happily to Zuko, and looked at the rest of the herd who were now cheering for their new leader. They all seemed happy that their old, cruel leader was no more than a memory now.

Zuko smiled looking around happily he walked silently to a stream and drank to quench his tiring thirst. He was glad he could make others happy. His thick dark mane covered his face when he bent down to drink. He folded his wigns neatly accross his shiny pelt.
