Eclipse soared above the ground, her huge black wings flapping every now and then. Her silvery-white forelock blew around in her face, and her mane and tail streamed out behind her. The silver feathers of her wings rustled gently in the wind. Eclipse sighed, she loved stormy weather, but she also found it comforting to take a small flight at Midnight.
The moon shone brightly, turning Eclipse's velvety black pelt silver, and making ehr silver eyes stand out even more. Eclipse shifted in the breeze, flying up higher, and through the dark nightime clouds. She was greeted by zillions of stars, each shining nearly as bright as the moon.

Devil and Snowstorm took off. They were friends, but got into fights sometimes. They flew around for awhile and stopped as they saw Eclipse. "Shall we go say hello?" Devil asked. "Let's" Snowstorm said and lead the way.

Eclipse looked below, and caught a glimpse of two other horses heading her way. I wonder what they want? The black pegasus asked herself.

"Hello there. I'm Devil. This is Snowstorm" Devil said as they caught up to her. "You can call me Storm if you want. Might I ask what your name is?" Snowstorm asked politely. He gave a small half bow.

"Oh, hi Devil, Storm." She greeted, nodding in turn to each of them. "I'm Eclipse. I havn't seen you around much even thgouh we're in the same herd." Eclipse said with a hint of amusment in her eyes.

"Yeah, we're not around much. We usually go off on our own" Snowstorm said. "Yeah, but who's fault is that?" Devil muttered.

Eclipse laughed softly, and flapped her wings, pushing her higher into the moonlit sky.

Zuko fl;ew in the sky, his fleathers swished silently. He saw a mare ahead of him. HE moved aside, so they wouldn't colide. He nicked in his low strong voice, letting them know he was there. His black mane flapped wildly around his strong neck.

Eclipse slowed down, and looked behind her where the stallion had flown. She shrugged inwardly, and tusked her magnifiecent black and silver featherd wings close to her Midnight colored body. Then she dropped from the sky. She hurteled past the clouds, and as soon as she was within a few feet from the tops of the forest pines, she spread her huge wings, carrying herself back up into the sky.

Zuko watched the mare fly away. He wondered if he had scared her, but he didn't intend on following. He dove downward toward a pond. He let out his wings and slowwed down when the water was near. The touched a hoof to the water then landed at the shoor. He arched his neck and drank quietly.

Eclipse decided to decend or the night. There were already to many other horses about. Any other night she wouldn't of card, but she had to think about some things. She soared over the woods, until she had come to a small slearin with a big cave.
She slowly decended, stepping onto the cold, stiff ground with her front hooves first. When she had landed, she stretched her wings, and then tucked them in close to her body. Eclipse walked into the cave, and picked her way around her sleeping herdmates. She finally lay down in the back of the cave next to her other Pegasus friend, Rain.

Zuko finished drinking then turned to the wooded area. His blackish eyes easily adjusted quickly. He took to a warm trot and plunged into the darkness. He could hear the other animals either flee or just stare at him.

Eclipse's ears pricked, and she slowly opened her eyes. The sound of hoofbeats could be heard not to far away. The black Pegasus got to her hooves, and cautiously walked out of the cave, and into the clearing. Out here, the hoofbeats were louder. Eclipse was curious s to who was there, so she walked a little further, into the woods.
A moment later, Eclipse saw the same stallion that had passed her in the sky.

Zuko felt someone watching him it made him a bit nervous. "Who's there?" He asked. His voice was strong, deep, but kind. His looked out from under his black forelock.

Eclipse lowered her neck, letting her silver forelock fall over her right eye, and she put her ears back only a little bit. She tucked her wings close, and stepped out from the shadows that the tall forest pines provided, and into a small patch of moonlight. "It's only me. Eclipse, you know, the peg you passed in the sky?" She replied, flicking her ears foreward a bit.
