Renegade walked along the narrow path on the mountain-top. Evergreens loomed above him, on each side of the long path which seemed to stretch on forever, and then disapear in a black mist which Renegade assumed to be the end of the narrow terrain. Thunder clashed in the distance, followed by a streak of lightning that lit up Renegade. His golden pools showed no emotion as he continued to walk along, seeming to float off the ground a little.
Anyone who saw Renegade would've thought they've seen a ghost horse by his swiftness, and silent hooves. A gust of wind blew by, making his long, midnight mane swirl about. Renegade suddenly stopped walking, and another lightning bolt lit up the dark sky. He looked to where the lightning had disappeared, and then stretched his magnificiant black wings and spread his hazel feathers, preparing to take flight.
Since Renegade was already on top of a mountain, he didn't need to find a good cliff to take off from. He looked around carefully to mske sure that nobody was following him, and slowly disappeared into the shadows between two Evergreens on the right side of the path.
[xD I like this guy! He's now my fave stallion that I own. ^^]

Shasta watched a stallion walk along on his own. Her cyan eyes watched him turn to see if anyone was ther and she quickly stepped silently back behind a bush.
She waited until he continued before going on. Her black shiny coat made her perfect for hiding in the deep dark mountain forests. The only problem was her glowing cyan eyes. She followed a distance behind the lone stallion; curious of where he was going. She was to shy to ask him or even talk. Only her curiousicty pressed her on with following.

Renegade senced someone following him, and the stallion whipped around, ears back. He slowly back up to the edge of the cliff, not in fear, but in attempt to lose whoever was following him. [Sorry for short post, gotta go. ^^;]

Shasta knew he was following. She folded her wngs close to her body and quickly went to a clearing. She leaped into the air and flew, but very low to the ground. She went around to the cliff edge and watched from there. Most of her black-ness was hidden by a pine tree. HEr cyan eyes gentle, but watching.

"Who is it?" Renegade asked coldly, his hazel eyes staring into the forest he called home. He opened his black wings, his brown and hazel feathers gleaming making him look twice his size. Renegade's long, thick mane blew around him in the strong wind from the leftover storm.

Shasta didn't want to hide, but she didn't know what would come out of her mouth. She quickly landed behind a large thick bush. She pushed around in it untill she came to the other side. "I am," she said quietly. She didn't want to feel like a stalker or anything creepy, but in a way she was following himbut only out of curiousicty. Her cyan eyes watched his black ones shyly, but she was still very alert.

Renegade stared at the mare for a moment, and then asked coldly, "Why are you following me, and what is your name?" His hazel eyes gazed intently at her awaiting the mare's reply.

"I-I was curious," She said caught of gaurd by his coldness. "I'm Sh-Shasta," She said answering his last question. Her voice was young and song-like. Her cyan eyes watched, more alert then before.

Renegade stared at Shasta a moment longer before turning away. Dark clouds billowed in the sky, and lightning flashed above a snow-topped mountain in the distance. "Fine. And just so you know, I'm not one of thse horses who are always joyful and looking to make friends. So don't expect me to be all polite and friendly to you. 'Cause I'm not gonna." Renegade said dulley.
The stallion turnd back to the edge of the cliff, and spread his magnifiacent wings before leaping into the air. Renegade flapped his wings in one swift motion, and he was soaring up to the stormy skies.

Shasta didn't mind his ill-attitude. "I don't mind," She said calming herself down. She trotted up to him and kept step. "I live out here for a reason. And that's to be away from those kinds of horses," Her voice was normal, teen-sounding and gentle. "I don't appreciat giving away my name and not getting one in return," She stated, "May I ask for you name?" Her cyan eyes watched his expressions.

Renegade made an exasperated sigh, and turned back towards Shasta. "Renegade." He stated.

Shasta nodded her head, watching him carefully. "Do you want me to go away?" She asked sincerely. Hey cyan eyes watched his expression carfully. Her onyx coat glittered. She didn't remember when she saw another horse last.

Renegade pondered a moment. He did kind of like the mare's company in a way. "Uh, I guess you can if you want. But I don't really care weather you stay or go." The stallion said quietly. Then he added, "The last time I spoke with another horse was at least a year ago. But still don't expect me to be kind and all that."

Shasta stared at him blankly. "I wasn't asking for kindess," She muttered to herself. She decided to stay, beign alone wasn't always her kind of "bag-o-chips".

Renegade nodded slightly. His thick black mane swirled about his strong neck, and his hazel eyes were staring at the distant mountains. The rain had now come harder, and the wind stronger. Thunder rumbled in the black clouds, lightning following it shortly after.
[RP block again. -_-;]
