Galaxy wasn't sure what he was seing, but he had a strong feeling it wasn't friendly. His sapphire eyes stared at the creature, his ears pricked and very alert. His musculs tensed and ready to act.

Starfire slowly started backing back into the misty forest, and Onyx just continued to stare not nothing. "Uhh....I think we should turn back now Onyx!" Starfire whispered loudly. Her blue eyes almost seemed to glaze over in fear. But the Pegasus ignored her, and stepped foreword cautiously.
She sensed another creature's presence, possibly even more than one. Onyx pinned her ears back against her head, but took yet another careful step forward, black tail swishing back and forth with anxiety. They were being watched.

Galaxy followed next to her. His sapphire eyes scrutinizing whatever was watching them. His ears were pricked foward in alert, listening to any sounds possibly audible.

Suddenly; before even Onyx could make sense of the situation, a big, dark and shaggy creature leaped out from under its cover, followed by at least three others. It lunged at Onyx, jaws open and exposing rows of long, extremely sharp looking teeth. The surprised Pegasus turned and bucked, kicking the thing away from her. The other dog-like creatures went for the other two horses, while the supposedly 'leader', regained its composure, and began to circle Onyx, snarling.

Galazy neighed loudly and whipped his hindquaters out at the animal. It struck square in the stomache nocking it away, but onyl to try and recover ground. Galazy turned and started for the creatures snarling at Onyx. His mouth agape and his ears, now pinned, back.

The dog-like creature whipped its black head around to stare at Galaxy with haunting yellow eyes. Instead of attacking though, it sat back on its haunches, and began to howl. "Oh no..." Onyx whispered, ears flat against her head. When the creature had finished howling, it focused its cold gazeon Onyx again, occasionaly flicking it over to Galaxy. Then suddenly, growls and spine-tingling screeches could be heard, and about 5 other dog-like things appeared from the mist, each leaping at one of the horses.
