A run with Destiny

[Serenity]

Destiny called back, "Lions! I can hear them! They're at the edge of the forest!" Destiny motioned with her horn the the beggining of the forest that was up a little farther ahead. As if on cue, a lioness leaped out from behind some trees, openng her vicious jaws, and letting out an ear-splitting roar. 3 other lionesses leaped out after her, all snarling.

[Heartless Deity]

Sombra looked at the furriusly. He had delt with lions before. He neighed ficiously back at them. Then he spread his large wings making him look three times bigger.

[Serenity]

Destiny hoped Sombra had scared the lionesses away, but instead, they didn't flinch. The head lioness lashed her tail, and bared her long, razor sharp fangs. Destiny shut her eyes, and her horn began to glow. A second later, she appeared next to Sombra, her own teeth bared, and her ears flat against her head. She pawed the ground, challenging the huge felines before her.

[Heartless Deity]

Sombra didn't bother watching Destiny, he knew she was helping. He lashed his teeth and reared looking only bigger with his wings spread over him and destiny.

[Serenity]

The lionesses leaped, jaws snapping, at Sombra, followed by another. One of the remaining two lunged for Destiny while the other ran past them, to Magic and Princess.

Destiny didn't rear, knowing the lioness would most likley go for her stomach. Instead, the Palomino snorted, and stuck her horn out for protection.

[Heartless Deity]

Sombra lashed his sharp hooves out at the lioness cutting on on the face. It fell back a bit to stablizie. Sombra grounded himself and bucked wildly at the lions. He bit what ever he could bite.

[Serenity]

Destiny's lioness didn't lunge at her like she had expected. Instead, the great, golden cat crouched low, circling Destiny. Destiny turned in a small circle, always facing the lioness, and careful not to exposs her back. The lioness snarled, and it leaped, dragging it's sharp claws through Destiny's golden side.

The Unicorn cried out in agony, then bucked the cat off. It landed swiftly on all fours, and backed up briefly. Destiny reared up, thrashing her sharp hooves in the air. When she had landed, her horn began to glow, and the lioness locked it's beady greed eyes on it's glow. Destiny smiled to herself. It worked, the lioness had fallen into a trance.

But Destiny had to struggle to keep the mysterious glow glowing. She was growing weak from loss of blood caused by the deep gash along her side.

[Heartless Deity]

Sombra stomped on one lion and it layed still, dead. Sombra faced the lead lioness. It snarled, not taking it's ember eyes of him. Sombra's ears were flat against his head.

The lionness made a move it lunged at Sobmra sinking its fangs in Sombra's onyx wings. He cried out in pain bucking wildly. He got free from the lioness and lunged at it. It jumped at him and lashed his chest wide open. Sombra whinnied from the painfull injury. He crashed to his knees, his nostrils flaring. He shuddered then quikly made an effort to get up. He was a second to late when the lion ess attacked. She jumped onto his neck bringing him down in a heave thud of black. He thrashed his legs, and bit furiously at the lionness.

[Serenity]

Destiny heard Sombra's cry of pain, and had to force herself to stay where she was. She spoke in a foreighn language to the lioness, and its eyes glowed green, as it nodded its golden head, and took off in the direction of the lead lioness. With a deafening yowl, and a painful yelp, Destiny could tell that the lead lioness had been killed.

The glow faded from Destiny's horn, and the lioness snapped back to reality. It yelped at the sight of its dead leader, and charged at Destiny, knocking her to the ground in a painful 'Thud.' Destiny cried out in extreme pain as the lioness tore at her side, and bit down on her neck. Silver Unicorn blood gushed from Destiny's side, and she battle for consiousness.

With all her strength, she rolled onto her back, crushing the lioness beneath her, and biting down on its leg as hard as she could. It was dead.

[Heartless Deity]

Sombra layed on his side, panting heavily. Thick red blood gushed from his chest and neck from where he had been attacked. I have to see if destiny's ok, he said to himself. He forcfully pushed himself up. His brown eyes were tired and almost listless. He limped horrbibly over to Destiny. He could tell she was very injured and tired. He needed to get her back to the herd. He folded his battered wings as best as he could and gently forced Destiny on his shoulders. Then he began his slow journey to the herd.

[Serenity]

Destiny was too tired to keep her eyes open. But realizatio hit her, and she flicked her eyes open, and nickered happily. "I forgot, I can heal!"

[Heartless Deity]

Sombra slowed down a bit more, "Won't you get even more tired?" He asked her. HE didn't want her to pass out from being so exashsted(Sp?).

[Serenity]

"I think I can manage." Destiny replied. She made her horn grow a tiny bit, and she disapeared, only to re-appear in front of Sombra on her side. She strained her neck, and lightly touched the tip of her horn to her worst wound. It started glowing, and a few moments later, the wound deisovled. The rain was still coming down hard, and it washed away the blood around Destiny's wounds, making it easier to heal them.

When Destiny had finished, and regained her strength, she smiled and walked over to Sombra. A few minutes later, his wounds were gone. "Feeling better?" Destiny asked.

[Heartless Deity]

"Just a little tired, lets just get back to the herd," Sombra said. He needed to rest. OOc| I'm roleplaying in alot of other role plays, so I'm kind of brain dead XD

[Serenity]

[ lol ] Destiny nodded, and looked behind her to Magic and Princess. They had somescraps, but had won the fight with the lioness. Destiny quickly healed their wounds, then walked back up to the front with Sombra.
