Phantom looked out as the rain stopped. "It's over" he said happily and ran out. He splashed through the puddles like a foal then stopped. He gently shook his mane and stood tall looking like his relaxed, serious self. "Let's go. I'll escort you back to the herd" he said. If you hadn't seen him acting like a foal then you never would have guessed that he acted that way.

Story laughed, "But we saw it." Her brown eyes were sparkling in the night. IT was nice that the storm was over.

"Yeah, but if you tell anyone I'll deny it" Phantom said. "I'm going into the woods for awhile. I need to check on something" he said. He turned quickly and ran into the woods.

Sashay looked after Phantom curiously. "What is he up to now?" She asked slightly to herself. She smirked, and stood up. "Do you want to come back to the herd with us Story? Or are you gonna' wait for Phantom to come back?" Sashay asked.

"Mm... I'll wait for Phantom. I don't want to leave him stranded," Story said. She stood silently resting one black/grey hoof. Her sniy black mane lightly carressed her neck and covered her cheak. Her forelock gently pummled down from her forehead. Her blueish body shined in the dim light.

"Oh, we wouldn't do that, I would tell him we were heading back to the herd first, but I don't blame you for waiting. See you back at the herd!" Sashay called, smiling, as she trotted out of the cave, Silverstar right behind her.
The silver peg whinnied goodbye to Story cheerfully, and followed her mother through the woods.

Phantom walked out by the females. He stood so that they couldn't see his left side. He had found a bear and fought with it. By doing so he got a long cut on the left side of his rump.

Sashay nodded to Phantom as she passed. "We're gonna go back to the herd now." Then she noticed something about him seemed, different. "You seem kinda...tired. Are you alright?" She asked, concerened for her friend. One minute he was bursting with energy, and now he seemed exgasted. [^^; I know I spelled that wrong again.]

Story had noticed to. She circled him to see if he was alright. "What did you do?!" She gasped when she saw the long wound on his rump. Her brown eyes were wide.

"Nothing, it's nothing you need to worry about. I'm a bit tired and wasn't paying attention on my way back. I'll be ok, now come on. We need to get back to the herd" Phantom said. He didn't want them to find out what he had really been doing. He didn't want them to worry either.

Story knew he was hiding something by the way he talked. She gave him a hard look but said, "Alright."

"I can explain later if you want me to" Phantom said quietly to Story as they walked back to the herd. He could tell that Story was mad at him.
